IBERIAN LYNX

The iberian lynx's population is around 110 known individuals. It lives n Southern Europe and it's scientific name is lynx pardinus.  It's other common names are Spanish lynx and lynx pardelle.  Some back round about it is it may be the first cat species to become extinct for at least 2000 years.  Today, there are no more than 38 breeding females in the wild.  This lynx is closely related to Eurasian lynx, the Canada lynx, and the North American bobcat.  This animal is important because it   kills other carnivores
, it's loss can cause increase of density of the other predators.

ASIAN LEPORD CAT



The Asian Leopard Cat ranges from 7 to 15 pounds.  they are built like a normal domestic cat.  They have long legs and a long back.  They have a realitivity small head, a short muzzle, and large eyes.  Also, they have a thick tail to 11 to 14 inches in length and their body length varies between 25 to 32 inches.  The males are generally larger and heavier than the females.  They are expert swimmers and good climbers.  The food they eat are rodents, small animals, and birds.  Plus, the colors range from reddish to a grayish colored.

RAINBOW PARROTFISH


Rainbow Parrotfish
          the rainbow parrotfish is also known as the blue rainbow.  it has been endangered since 1996.  It usually live in Central America, North America, Oceanic, and South America.  They are large fish that are usually spotted in the Western Atlantic Ocean.  The males grow up to be 3.94 feet long, also the males end up being a lot brighter than the females do dealing with colors.  They have deep green bodies. orange fins and green streaks going toward their backs and tails.  Because of their unusual mouth parts they were called the parrotfish.

This is the fish eating bat. It of course eats fish and crustaceans. It has large feet with sharp claws. Its endangered species level is vulnerable.

BLUE WHALE

Blue whales are one of the most worried when it comes to endangered species. People hunt these poor animals for there blubber witch people use for food and fire. Also they hunt them for there oil riches. Whales are hunted a lot and some people love the way whales sing and how beautiful the creature is, so they had to do something about it. There are thousands dying only about 3,000 left they need your help they need are help they know there in danger thats why people don't see them a lot cause when they see ships and boats they swim away fear of getting shot and killed and harvested.

BLOBFISH

blob fish may be ugly but there still a very important creature.  These fish keep or waters clean from fish poop they eat fish poop cause of the nutrients the fish get from there food they also get. They live in depths of 600 feet were all there food drops. They live mostly in Asian coastal waters. To keep safe from predators they ooze a poisons green liquid that burns.

They may not be the cutest creature but they need help as much as you do so please help us by donating to the  WWF.

GIANT PANDAS

  


Giant Pandas are endangered species. Their habitats are getting destroyed to build factories. Another reason their going extinct is because their running out of bamboo. 99% percent of their diet consist of bamboo. Humans are their main predators. There are only about 2,00 left in the wild.

TIGERS


Tigers are  another specie that is terribly endangered. These helpless animals live in Siberia. People hunt them for there unique fur or hunt them for meat and warmth. There are less than 3,200 left. Wild tigers are at an all time low. They are one of the biggest Asian wild cats. There are already three species of tigers that are extinct. There are six species of tigers left.

FUN FACT!
Bengal tigers are tigers that can be white or cream colored.

Tasmanian Devil

The tasmanian devil may be vicious but there still cute important animals that  have feelings and is almost extinct. They live in tasmania. Tasmania is an island in Australia. there are only a few hundred left by  next year only a couple. They are marsupials witch means they eat meat. they see only black and white also they run faster than humans If you would like to help this poor poor animal please donate to the WWF.

Asian rhinos, gorillas, chimpanzees, giant pandas, polar bears, tigers, marine sea turtles and many more species are endangered. If you care or want to do something about it please donate to the WWF world wild life fund. Everyday these animals are dying off please help the animals who need help more than anything.

We are doing a service learning project to teach us how to do things for people other than our selves.
